A digital tool belongs inside a care pathway. Before discussing features, explain who will use it, which task it changes and who takes responsibility when it is unavailable. The questions below help prepare a project discussion; they are not a certification of safety, effectiveness or regulatory compliance.
Test the workflow
Describe the existing task and the additional work introduced by the tool. Include connectivity, language, accessibility, training and a route for people who cannot use the digital channel.
Plan for stewardship
Identify the organisation responsible for access, maintenance and incident handling. Specify what data is necessary, who may access it and which legal review is required. Do not place patient records in a public conference submission.
Make continuity and adoption observable
Explain how information moves between systems, how the service behaves offline and who funds it after the pilot. Measure use in context and the relevant service outcome; downloads and accounts are not equivalent to care delivered.
