OSH Forum initiative : join the launching of the International Working Groups

For over a year, many professionals have had to react urgently here and around the world to the pandemic and its health and social impact. They remain mobilized by its unprecedented effects, which are forcing us to reconsider our priorities for action. This infectious emergency combined with the climate crisis is prompting many professionals to rethink their actions in favor of One Health. The One Sustainable Health (OSH) Forum initiative aims for an integrated, equitable and global approach that takes into account the realities of human and animal health, and the environment.

The Geneva Health Forum is proud to be a partner of the OSH Forum initiative and invites you to join the launching of the International Working Groups on July 7, 2021, in Lyon and online.

The aim of the International Working Groups is to formulate recommendations for adapting public policies and to initiate new actions in the field.

The International Working Groups (IWGs) will gather for more than a year professionals from all disciplines and nationalities to work on priorities and actions to be developed in favor of one sustainable health, through the following themes:

• IWG 1: Mitigating the impact of environmental pollution, climate change and pressure on biodiversity to reduce diseases.
• IWG 2: Towards sustainable food and nutrition.
• IWG 3: Adapting human-environment paradigms for a better human and planetary health.
• IWG 4: Equitable access to quality healthcare.
• IWG 5: Global levers of change to foster One Sustainable Health.
• IWG 6: Developing OSH practices and resilience within indigenous and other local communities.
